|TIM LATTNER||Alan, thank you for bringing this to light.
Either we stand up|
and fight for oursveles or rollover and take-it. I think with a
Class action lawsuit will get peoples attenetion.
|AM******||The in-person trading is valuable to our culture and the economy.|
Don't let the 'robot' sites take over the trading floor. .
|DA******||We are truly concerned about the liquidity in the back months. |
The integrity of the market has been compromised due to false
bid/offers & volumes. No longer, can we hedge our risk
forward..In the end, it is a danger to the world's food supply.
Food & hedging should not be treated like poker chips.
|JIM PEARMAN||The electronic settles all seem to be in line every night, unlike|
open outcry have corn or beans 5 months out settled 3 cents out
of line on some 20 lot order. Good job cme.
|CHUCK MACKIE||Thanks for the offer to connect on LinkedIn.
I tend to|
disagree with your premise that HFT is the root of problems in
the ag markets. That being said, I appreciate the free exchange
of facts, ideas, and opinions and I am interested in joining in
to the debate, sometimes in concurrence and sometimes in
dissent. Chuck Mackie

|GR******||Eliminate HFT or put limits and provide transparency for HFT. |
Most of all do not allow HFT to place faked bids. Greg
|WAYNE NELSON||please save the floor we need an alternative to the electronic|
trade for option spreads and place for stops to be worked rather
than the electronic trade where at 3am in lighter trade where
stops seem to be hit.

|KEVIN LOCKARD||I want the Chicago Board of Trade open outcry pit to continue|
with previous rules and hours in their role in daily settlement
and transparency of settlement prices at 1:30 pm each day, as
they have always done in the past. I am against rules that
make changes in the time and manner that the settlement occurs.
|BRIAN PULLAM||Floor trading has worked for more than 150 years, don't know why|
everyone seems so gung ho and making everything electronic. I am
all for change, but do we really need to wipe out completely an
important tool that has been working for as long as it has?
Don't see any reason to give the high frequency trader so much
respect or leverage.
|KRISTY MALEY||I agree with everything said on this petition. I would ask that|
common sense prevail and "really" listen to what we are
objecting to. Thank you! Kristy Maley, Market Analyst
